Coil Pots

The coil pot lesson addresses the importance of learning ceramics in art. This is a beneficial project that enables the students to be creative when working in 3-D.  Not only will the students be able to design and formulate their own coil pot, they will also learn how to glaze pottery.  This two week lesson will provide the students with a tactile medium that can serve as both art and functionality.

Here is a student example.
